Clare deputises at the RCM, Trinity and GSMD junior departments, and is currently the peripatetic flute teacher at Prospect House School (Putney) and Heathfield House School (Chiswick). She tutors regularly on flute days and residential courses throughout the UK and has worked for Flutewise, Hong Kong Flute Academy and is a tutor at the Flute Kitchen summer school in Harrogate.

Clare is also a regular outreach performer and workshop leader, working for organisations including Music in Hospitals, Elastic Band and YMAT. In 2005 the Calderon Duo were made associates of the Live Music Now! Youth Music Fellowship Scheme and have given over 100 interactive concerts in schools, nursing homes, hospitals, adult learning centres and hospices across the UK.
